The Lacey being built over the Florida Grill on 11th street looks like the outside is nearly completed. I was told that 13 of the 26 units have already sold. The drawings on their Web site look pretty sweet. So now that the outside of the building is nearly complete what do you think? I’m digging the balconies.
I wondered if the Floridian was trying a bit too hard with its marketing campaign.
I previewed the Red Derby suspecting it was going to be awesome. I was right.
A tipster wrote in that a Manny & Olga’s pizzeria was going to open in Petworth. To my knowledge they haven’t opened yet nor have I heard if they were still planning on doing so.
Sidney on the Avenue located at 3318 Georgia Avenue is going rental. Seems like a number of condos are turning over to rentals. Is the trend of previously designated condo projects switching to rentals a good thing or a bad thing?
Of course I’m not sure how much help the $13.42 will provide…
But I respect the effort.
