“a red-tailed hawk catch and eat a rat directly outside of my apartment in Pleasant Plains! I’ve seen this hawk before but this is the first time I’ve seen it actually catching something. This was right off Georgia by the Banneker rec center and Howard.”

“Dear PoPville,
I wanted to share something that happened to me last week as I was heading to work on Monday. I usually park on the street, and when I walked to my car that morning, I saw it had been hit pretty badly. Imagine waking up and finding your car damaged to the point where it was almost undriveable—I had to tape it together just to get it to a shop. It was a hit-and-run.
This is actually the second hit-and-run I’ve experienced in the last six months in the same area of Logan Circle. (more…)
