The countdown to the opening of The Swift at Petworth Metro is over. The new 218-unit, LEED Silver apartment community on Georgia Avenue NW in Petworth is now offering studios, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedrooms — all with Clean Steel appliances, full-size Energy Star washers and dryers, eco-friendly wood-style plank flooring, energy efficient windows, and sustainable quartz countertops. The Swift held its grand opening, where guests took a tour of the building and enjoyed a Friday night happy hour, a BBQ on Saturday, and a champagne brunch on Sunday. Guests had a chance to check out The Swift’s many features — the apartments, clubroom, rooftop terrace, fitness center, Tech Bar with iMac computers, and courtyard.
