How many DC folks have a metal deck? Our strip of rowhouses in NE DC all have metal decks, so we had assumed they are popular in DC. But a couple of contractors have been surprised/confused. So do other PoPvillers have metal decks? Does anyone remember when the (short-lived?) metal deck fad struck?”

Just wanted to let you know that another CVS is closing. While picking up a prescription at the 1100 4th St SW store they announced that the store is closing May 15th and we need to transfer our prescriptions before then.”

“The DC Council unanimously approved Councilmember Charles Allen’s Healthy Homes bill that sets DC on a course to replace fossil-fuel powered appliances and home heat with electric appliances in the homes of 30,000 low- and moderate-income DC residents by 2040.
