Join Crinkle for a painting pop up studio experience on Thursday, August 29th
@ Willow on Upshur Street!

Gather with your friends, or make new ones, around a table at Willow Clothing Store. Along with an art instructor, you will create an abstract landscape watercolor painting. Using wet on wet and dry brush watercolor painting techniques, you will design an eye catching piece for your wall. The end product will be 8 1/2″ x 11″ on watercolor paper and comes with a black frame. Perfect for your apartment or for giving to a friend! Enjoy a glass of wine and a light snack and browse the super cute clothing for sale at Willow as you work.

**Participants must be 21 and over

Willow Clothing Store is located at 843 Upshur St NW and is within a 8 minute walk from the Georgia Avenue/Petworth Metro Stop. The 70 bus line drops off at Georgia Avenue less then one block from Willow.

Willow carries small quanities of unique designer clothing at affordable prices. The shop carries winter coats, light jackets, dresses, blouses, blazers, leggings, sweaters, and jewelry. There is a $15 bin which always holds great finds. In addition to clothing and accessories, Willow also carries fun gifts and home decor!”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
