From a press release:

“3 Stars Brewing Company are bringing together a group of their local brethren for another installment in their ongoing Artists & Artisans Series. The party is slated for Sunday, July 28th from 1-6 p.m. at the brewery (6400 Chillum Pl, NW).

“These festivities have grown over the last two productions, and this installment is sure to be the best yet,” says co-founder Dave Coleman. “The party series is a celebration of local talent – be it chefs, mixologists, DJ’s, distillers, etc. – that gives us the opportunity to host other local DC businesses and personalities in a locavore market setting to expose our beer-loving clientele to other passionate local creatives.”

The lineup for the upcoming festivities is a who’s who of local talent, including:

– Cocktail heavy-hitters Owen Thompson & Sam Babcock from Bryan Voltaggio’s Range
– Rappahannock River Oysters
– Chef Paul Madrid from Sixth Engine
– George Grau from the new Impala Cantina
– Catoctin Creek Whiskey
– Righteous Cheese
– DJ’s Keenan Orr & Smudge
– And of course, special offerings from 3 Stars Brewing Company’s killer lineup of beers

Tickets will be available for purchase online starting on Wednesday, June 26th at 11 a.m., and will likely sell out (the previous event was at capacity). The entry price is $10, including a custom tasting glass and your first beer. All the other vendors will be operating on an a-la-carte basis (prices range $5 – $10 each, cash preferred).”

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
