The Good Deal or Not (GDoN) post for this property was published back when the property was offered for sale at over $1,000,000. It ended up settling for over $100,000. less than the original list price, but still well north of $900,000. The location and price made for some good heated GDoN discussion.

CABHF commented that “The 400 block of M is my favorite street in the whole city.” From an architectural perspective, this is also one of my favorite blocks. There are some truly lovely and unique properties and interesting history, as well. I recently brokered the acquisition of 444 M St NW, which is currently under construction and will soon re-emerge as M Street Flats.

Someone noted that “The property was bought for $80k (you read that right) back in ’02…”, which is not quite accurate. Tax records indicate what appears to be a transfer among owners, so more likely one owner bought out the other. In 1995, the property was purchased for $180,000.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
