Coolest Pet in PoPville Entries #7, #8, #9 and #10

Yukon

Above is Yukon:

“Here’s your winner, hands down. I get multiple inquiries every single day. What kind of dog is that? Is that a horse? Does he weigh more than you? He’s definitely something special. Yukon is a great dane/yellow lab mix, by our best guess, and weighs in just under 120 pounds. We adopted him when he was approx 6 yrs old and at approx 9 years old, he’s in great shape and truly lives up to the name gentle giant. He enjoys spending most of his time hanging out every evening in our big front yard on the corner of 13th and Irving.”

Above is Colby:

“I give you Colby, in honor of his adoption from a shelter in PA five years ago.

Colby IS the coolest pet in PoPville because… well, look at the photo. Awesome, right?

But more important than his death-defying acrobatics is the fact that he is the lovingest, neediest feline ever to disgrace the aloofness stereotype. If you’re sitting, he’s on your lap. If you’re sleeping, he’s keeping your feet warm (in July… thanks dude). Most important is that we have a toddler, and he looooooves her. He puts up with anything from her. Endless games of peek-a-boo. Atttempts to cut his claws. I expect doll clothes aren’t far off. He has never so much as glared at her, which makes him, say it with me now, THE Coolest Cat in PoPville.”

FriskieRahm

Above are Friskie (dog) and Rahm (cat):

“So I realize this picture flouts the categories a bit, but both Friskie (dog) and Rahm (cat) coexist happily in Petworth. Rahm enjoys playing with Friskie’s tail, and Friskie enjoys chasing Rahm and treating him like her own puppy.”

Ed. Note: Seems there is a little confusion about the contest.  The cats are not competing against the dogs.  There will be 5 dog, cat and “other” finalists that will each compete in their own category.  We’ll have a poll in each category to select the winner.  Using the comments section for these posts will help me select the 5 finalists for each category.  I’ve gotten some amazing entries, and a lot of them!  So I’ll need your help selecting the finalists.  Maybe at the very end we’ll put the three winners in each category up for an overall winner.

The deadline for entries is August. 1st. Remember, please only send one photo per pet. You can see all the entries here.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
