My goodness. Angles and Little Fountain closed back in 2016 – ten year ago!! But finally, finally, finally some movement. First:
“Coming soon – a cocktail-focused piano bar in DC’s Adams Morgan neighborhood. From Drinks with You – the team behind The Mirror & The Golden Age.”
I’m told they will be located on the first floor above the incoming Wingo’s which will be located in the old Little Fountain space.
I’m also told:
“The bar will be a cocktail bar featuring live piano. We are putting a baby grand in the front. The aesthetic is inspired by storied old-world cocktail bars, and the color palette is inspired by the various shades of copper as it patinas. For this project we have partnered with Green Owl Design, a local women-owned design firm as well as Eleven Eleven Architects and Prodigy Builders. The cocktail list will include innovative originals as well as meticulously executed classics. We are aiming for an affordable price point with a small, but thoughtfully curated, selection of wines and beers. We will also have a variety of non-alcoholic options. Guests will be welcome to bring in food from the Wingo’s downstairs. There will be a back room that will be available to host events.”
