A reader reported around 7:15pm Monday night: “More weird stuff in the skies. Anyone else see this drone flying over Mt Pleasant just now?
It is possibile that it was a helicopter, but it very much reminded me of the drones I saw flying over the city during the 2020 protests– I lived right above Cardozo high at the time and could clearly them see them hovering around then. It had the characteristic pulsing red lights and occasional green light. From my perspective it looked to be hovering over Mt Pleasant Rd and Kenyon when I noticed it eventually flying off toward Columbia Heights. Possible I was just overthinking it/being paranoid. Who knows?”
