Fire Severely Damages La Bonne Vache in Georgetown Sunday Night. Two adults living above also displaced.

3265 Prospect Street, NW

Update from La Bonne Vache:

“When the unthinkable happens, you hope and pray that you’ll find a way through it and last night, while our Sunday team was closing, we experienced a pretty devastating electrical fire. Thanks to our team and the @dcfirefighters, it was contained and most importantly no one was hurt. This is obviously heartbreaking and something none of us ever imagined having to face. It’s every restaurant owner’s worst nightmare to get a call that your space is in danger. But more than anything, we are so unbelievably thankful that no one was hurt. Buildings can be repaired, things can be replaced, and we will rebuild and reopen.

We love what we’ve built and we absolutely love having the honor to serve all of you and while this is an incredibly difficult moment, we know that it’s just a chapter in our story, and not the end of it.

Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts..Please check back in while we update everyone and ask for the community’s help.”
