“Washington National Cathedral is excited to announce our Blessing of the Animals service on Sunday, October 4th. It is one of our most joyful gatherings every year, held outside the Cathedral’s west front and honoring the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment.
This event will feature special prayers, blessings, community time, and an informal gathering of many furry friends. It is in partnership with City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue and Miri’s Haven Senior Dog Rescue.
