Now in the festival's 13th year, we are bringing you a hybrid film festival with virtual screenings for 29 films via Eventive, and four in-person screenings in Washington, DC the first and second weekends of October.

Connect with your DMV community at our opening night screening! Enjoy delicious, locally-made food (included with ticket), and connect with organizations working right now in DC to support, protect, and champion our migrant communities. We'll be screening three films related to the theme of community building through food and music, and how they can transcend boundaries to make connections. Don't miss out on this incredible community event!

After the screening, we'll hear from Kamal's filmmaker Nich Perez and local DMV filmmaker Amina Chaudary, along with Hurunnessa (Hurie) Fariad, the subject of Chaudary's short film Her Anthem.
