I learned a lot about Guerro (Acapulco area), Oaxaca and Sinaloa states and their food yesterday when we dined at El District 24. This is not a mainstream Mexican restaurant but prices are reasonable. We had a chat with the chef, Luis, and an informative waiter. Attached is a photo of the shrine in the former fireplace inside the dining room not far from the bar.
The shrine candles were lit during part of the time we were dining there.”
