Ah, it’s been a minute since we’ve seen our green bean fish friend, who pops up over the years, like clockwork.
If my memory serves this was
related to a genetically modified foods campaign and the green bean was mounted on top of car, sorta like that cloud car that also pops up regularly over the years.
As to why it’s still in the alley – well it’s way to awesome to throw away and takes up too much space in the basement :)
ICMYI: Back in 2013 there was an anti GMO campaign and this was mounted on top of a car to draw attention to the issue.
Other cars had the radish, the corn and the apple.
A precursor to the “cloud car” which is now used for artistic purposes (previously environmental concerns, cloud used to be black “It was part of a campaign by enviro groups to get automakers to drop efforts to roll back clean car standards”)
