Younger Sister is a three-piece indie rock girl band from Washington DC. Born out of the local scene after meeting at a show in late 2023, the band draws from riot grrrl staples Sleater-Kinney and Bikini Kill, alongside newer favorites like Slow Pulp. Their songs combine punchy guitar, loud drums, big feelings, and the occasional existential crisis into something they have coined “post-serious pre-sarcastic indie grrrl rock.
