Back in April we broke the news that Dos Gringos would be closing and La Lucha, “sandwiches & more” would be coming into the legendary space in Mount Pleasant. I’m told they are hoping for a “late may opening!”

“Putting a face to the name, I’m Chad. Alex (former owner of dos gringos) is a dear friend of mine. Here’s a photo of us on her last day slanging food at dos gringos. Underneath her mask is a vibrant smile that was dedicated to the community of Mount pleasant. I’m honored she decided to pass me the reigns and I hope to make her proud. Spoiler alert; she will be working with us at LUCHA, so you’ll still get to see her! Fingers crossed we will be stuffing faces with sandwiches on house made hoagies in a few weeks. Stay tuned!“
