
International Drive off Van Ness Street, NW
For those unfamiliar with this awesome tidbit of history, see some photos of Netwon’s tree and a wild statue before it was fenced off. It’s located in International Park behind the Chinese Embassy in Van Ness.
The park has had every entrance to it fenced off since at least 2023. Nobody’s ever given a reason why beyond claims of repairs, which apparently are still happening…
Google still has it listed as “temporarily closed”:
