I’m a volunteer at City Wildlife. There are a large number of pigeons currently trapped about 20 feet off the ground at the metro station (see attached pics). I’ve spoken with one of the station managers, who said dead pigeons are falling every night when he closes the station gate. However,
he says he’s unable to fix the problem himself.
HLE and DOEE are supposedly working on it, but this has been going on for days. I’m trying to spread the word so we can hopefully pressure those in charge to free the pigeons as soon as possible. Here are two numbers if you or others in your community would like to call:
