Seems like there is somebody walking around hitting or punching people around the Tatte at 14th and W. There were several girls crying and holding their heads and a man with a stroller with a bleeding head and cops running after somebody. Horrifying.”
MPD tells me:
“On Thursday, April 30, 2026, at approximately 3:22 p.m., Third District officers responded to the area of 14th Street and W Street, Northwest, for a simple assault. Upon arrival, officers located several victims who were randomly assaulted by the suspect. The suspect was located and arrested for simple assault by responding officers. The victims were evaluated on the scene for minor injuries.”
