“Peeked through the window. Almost everything is ripped out. Looks like there was an ad on the wall!
It looks like a 2 story ad. I wonder if that was an outside wall after the 68 riots and then the building was later rebuilt.”

“Found this photo of an ad in DC by artist Sandra Walker (who made a watercolor of it). It’s not the same ad and no location given, but it has the slogan “3 dishes for 1 1/2 cents” so it might be a Quaker Oats ad! The ad in the Walker photo is for MB Flynn but I haven’t been able to find anything about them. Looks like maybe it’s a building supply / hardware store?”
