I’m wondering if you have any suggestions for where to post about an item stolen from a car? I’d appreciate any advice beyond filing a police report and checking online platforms like FB Marketplace and Craigslist.
I live in Anacostia and woke up this morning (Friday) to find my car had been broken into. The glove compartment, center console, and back of the car were all searched. The main item stolen was my Tahe inflatable SUP, which had been stored in the back. It’s a pretty big/niche item a blue-and-white, two-person inflatable SUP/kayak combo from Tahe – so I’m hopeful that if people know to look out for it, it might turn up.
I’m still taking inventory in case anything else is missing, but that was definitely the most noticeable (and disappointing) loss.”
