“Dear PoPville,
My husband was jogging on the west side of the Washington Monument Monday at approximately 2:30PM. He was bitten from behind by a golden retriever overpowering a boy who was holding its leash. The boy was approximately 10 years old and he was with another child and a woman
(probably his Mom) who had at least one other dog on a leash. It’s possible she was a professional dog walker. My husband was too startled to get their information or ask about vaccination status. My husband was wearing an orange shirt, light green shorts, and a white hat.“
