A reader reports: “Thieves broke into an empty building adjacent to Le Liquor last night and tunneled through the wall to steal $100k+ of jewelry.”
“I heard all three hours of the pounding from 2-5am. I called the police but because there weren’t obvious signs of a break in, they couldn’t do anything. Which is fine but two weeks ago to the day this same thing happened – 4am pounding – and I called the police and they caught two people on the property. Then they just let them go, no arrest no incident report nothing. I suppose they’ll be taking it a little more seriously now that Le Liquor is out that amount of money.”
