From a press release:

“After more than 11 years in its original location inside historic Union Market, Salt & Sundry is excited to announce its expansion into a new corner space at street level in Union Market District. The beloved home and lifestyle boutique will move to 1301 4th St. NE in May.

The expansive, sun-filled location will elevate the vibrant collection of home decor, tableware and curated gifts the brand is known for and, at 2,500 square-feet, provide more space to innovate and expand into furniture, ethical fashion and more. Salt & Sundry supports hundreds of independent brands, artists and makers — both locally and globally, including more than 200 women-owned businesses.

“Salt & Sundry was born out of a desire to help people find quality goods that provide comfort, joy and beauty and have amazing stories behind them,” says Amanda McClements, Salt & Sundry’s founder and creative director. “Union Market was the perfect place for us to launch and I’m so excited we have an opportunity to grow those roots in the community with this gorgeous street-front space.”

The new location, across 4th Street from the recently expanded Politics & Prose, will stock Four Hands furniture along with vintage rugs and finds, as well as coveted lifestyle brands including East Fork Pottery, Flamingo Estate, Baggu, Sydney Hale Candle Co. and more.”
