A Sticky Fingers is opening inside the Streets Market in NoMa Thursday!

Ed. Note: Yesterday we learned that Little Hat Coffee opened inside the Streets Market at 14th and Florida Ave, NW

From an email:

“There are now more spots to get your Sticky Fix–Sticky Fingers’ popular Cowvin cookies, Little Devils, Cookies & Cake cupcakes, are now sweetening up much more of the DMV.

Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats is opening an outpost of its popular plant-based bakery in NoMa inside of Streets Market, 51 M Street NE, with a Grand Opening on Thursday, October 26th at noon.

The first 50 customers can get a free cookie when they stop in for the Grand Opening from 12 – 4 on Thursday, October 26th. Sticky Fingers will also donate 10% of proceeds on the 26th to the Humane Rescue Alliance, so stock up for Halloween!

You can now get your favorite plant-based Sticky Fingers treats at more spots around DC, including all 9 DC area Foxtrot markets, MOMs, Yes! Organic Market, Peregrine, Odd Provisions, Whole Food Markets, as well as all Streets markets. Sticky Fingers is also opening a bakery and wholesale production facility in Takoma this winter.”

Ed. Note: Sticky Fingers will be closing their Columbia Heights location soon as they prepare to move into their new Takoma space soon. Updates when we get exact dates on that too.

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
