“Dear PoPville,
Friday, July 28th. Red line at Woodley Park / Saturday night outside the Harris Teeter on Kalorama Rd
Like many do, I (blue button down, green pants) made eye contact with a very attractive girl (Dark hair, pinkish floral dress, white shoes) on the metro. We exchanged a few glances and smiles on the Woodley Park platform and in the metro car, but no one made the first move. I got off at my stop (Bethesda) and beat myself up for not staying anything. Pretty standard stuff.
For whatever reason, this girl stuck in my head and I told myself if I ever saw her again I would make myself talk to her.
Fast forward 36 hours to Saturday night, I (white t-shirt, black shorts) see her (white top) again near the Harris Teeter on Kalorama Rd around 9pm while walking with some friends. We made eye contact and I think were both a little caught off guard. It wasn’t until I had walked a few blocks that I realized who it was.
Some divine power was at work trying to put us back together and I missed my chance. Hoping that same divine power (or PoP) can put this message in front of her.”
