From a press release:
“DC Brau Brewing, the first production brewery in the District of Columbia since the 1950s, is celebrating its 12 year anniversary with its first ever package refresh launching this May. The new look aims to maintain the same recognizable feel of DC Brau that customers have come to love, but with a more modern twist.
As part of the anniversary celebration, DC Brau will toast the new packaging with an anniversary bash on April 15th at the NE brewery (3178-B Bladensburg Rd NE, DC), featuring live music by The Jerry Tripsters and Jasper Juniper.
The new packaging look sets to reimagine the brewery’s brand identity, with a bold and contemporary focus that evokes simplicity and clarity. The colors remain consistent with the previous flavor profiles of each beer. “DC Brau has always been committed to brewing the highest quality craft beer, and we wanted our packaging to reflect that same level of quality and craftsmanship,’’ says Brandon Skall, CEO of DC Brau.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating our 12 year anniversary and to be launching our new package refresh at the same time. Our customers have been with us every step of the way, and we wanted to create a package that reflects the evolution of our brand while still maintaining the look and feel that makes them feel at home with a Brau.”
The new packaging will find a home on all the brand’s beers, including flagship brands such as The Public, BrauPils and The Corruption, as well as the company’s variety packs.
“We wanted to create a package that would stand out on the shelf and capture the attention of our customers,” says Steve Carnes, Director of Operations at DC Brau Brewing.

The anniversary party promises to be a fantastic event for brewery fans. On April 15, from 2pm – 7pm, attendees can expect a day full of fun, live music, food trucks, and of course, plenty of beer. The event will be family-friendly and open to all ages, so that everyone can join in on the celebration.”
