From a press release:

“MRP Realty, a developer of commercial, residential, industrial and mixed-use real estate along the Southeast corridor of the US, announced today the opening of Bryant Street Market food hall (670 Rhode Island Ave, NE) in the rapidly burgeoning Bryant Street development in DC’s Edgewood neighborhood on Friday, March 17, with early access starting Thursday, March 9.

Beginning today, customers are invited to take a first look at Bryant Street Market as vendors begin opening their stalls for public service. Blowfish Poke is the first restaurant to open with their signature Hawaiian food and wildly popular mochi donuts. They will be operating today and daily 11am – 8:30 pm.

The opening lineup also includes recently announced Taqueria Habanero and Alegria Bar, both founded by husband-and-wife team Mirna and Dionicio “Dio” Montero in 2014, and will serve up tacos and other traditional cuisine plus craft beers and cocktails, organic wines and light bites inspired by spirits and flavors throughout Latin America.

Grassfed Griddle will be set up outside Bryant Street Market providing breakfast for residents, visitors and commuters traveling through Rhode Island Metro Station or along the Metropolitan Branch Trail. Tiger Sugar will also be joining the lineup, providing their award-winning bubble tea derived from a proprietary eight-hour method of infusing syrups and tapioca pearls in their expansive menu, characterized by the unique “tiger stripes” created in the hand-poured drinks.

Bryant Street Market is a multi-stall food hall in the heart of Bryant Street on the ground floor of The Chase residential building. Celebrating diverse cultural cuisines, MRP is making a concentrated focus with Bryant Street Market to partner with local businesses that further enrich the neighborhood experience and strengthen the connection between varied flavors and shared local roots.

“This opening is the culmination of our purposeful outreach to expand the culinary options to a global scale,” said Zach Wade, principal with MRP Realty. “Bryant Street Market provides a place to celebrate the diverse cultures in the District, and provides an environment for our area’s own local businesses to flourish by doing what they love.”

Opening soon will also be a 2,400-square-foot event space and the Bryant Street Market will also be hosting various pop-ups for local businesses in the DC community, providing spaces for visitors to shop goods from local artisans and entrepreneurs within the greater Market space.”

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
