15 Spots Many of Us Forget to Clean in Our Homes

Photo via Giorgio Trovato/Unsplash

Even those of us who take pride in our deep cleaning sprees can miss a spot here and there.

See:

  1. Door trim
  2. Window sills
  3. Ceiling fans
  4. Light fixtures
  5. Behind the toilet and its base (oof)
  6. Door knobs
  7. Stair railing
  8. Closet and pantry floors
  9. Plants — both real and fake
  10. Air vent grate
  11. Baseboards
  12. Front of cabinets
  13. Top of refrigerator
  14. Range hood
  15. Wall decor (pictures, mirrors)

All of these are just a few more reasons it’s smart to call in the pros every now and then.

Well-Paid Maids cleaners focus on the details when cleaning your home. That’s because Well-Paid Maids hires good people — and takes good care of them, paying a starting wage of $22 an hour, offering insurance and giving them 24 paid days off per year.

So instead of grabbing your duster right now, go ahead and book a professional cleaning with Well-Paid Maids.

Are there other spots in your home you tend to miss (on accident or otherwise)? Let us know in the comments.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
