Give Your Favorite Washingtonian the Gift of a Clean Home this Holiday Season

Stumped on gift ideas this year? Give the gift of a clean home.

No need to draw up an “IOU” chore coupon. Instead, surprise your loved ones with a Well-Paid Maids gift certificate.

Well-Paid Maids is a living-wage cleaning company here in the D.C. area. We pay our employees a starting wage of $22/hour and offer benefits like 24 paid days off per year, insurance and paid commuting costs.

That means you can treat your parents, in-laws and friends to a clean home — and support a good company.

Here’s how to get a gift card:

  1. Give us a call at 202-715-1646, or send us an email at [email protected]. Provide the name of the recipient, their email and/or home address, and the desired amount.
  2. We’ll send you an invoice. (Credit cards are accepted!)
  3. Once paid, reply with your desired gift code. Folks have fun with this. Make it the recipient’s name, a single word or a phrase like HAPPY HANUKKAH.
  4. Share this code with the recipient! They’ll enter it when they book their cleaning. It’ll never expire.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out or visit our website for more information.

Happy holidays, D.C.!

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
