Trilogy Atelier will be hosting international tattooer Gee Nk!
Her style, as she describes it, would be avant garde tattooing or a mix of color realism and new school. Her unique style has already drawn the attention of people that will be traveling cross country to get tattooed during her residency. Despite having worked internationally, this will be her first time tattooing on U.S. soil. She will then be traveling to Mexico and Paris later this year. Trilogy’s mission is to serve as a hub for both local and international artists and to bring extraordinary talent to D.C.
Trilogy opened its doors August 5, and has already hosted an array of talent! Oil painter turned tattooer, Natalia Struk, specializes in black and gray realism but her work resembles that of 19th century impressionist art. Local artist Maria Miller has been tattooing for a little over a year but her portfolio exceeds that of more experienced tattoo artists. Her dark and mysterious aesthetic carries throughout her artwork as well as her tattoo work.
A more recent addition to the Trilogy team is artist Fabio Sueko, a Brazilian artist that loves portrait work but can tackle and execute a variety of techniques. Born and bred D.C. artist Pedro Garcia, favors Black grey realism but can adapt to any technique. Lastly, joining the team mid November will be Lola Ruiphaez, a fine line and micro realism artist that displays a femininity and intricacy to her pieces.
Trilogy will soon be expanding its offerings to include gallery exhibits and lectures. For additional information visit www.trilogyatelier.com.
