I was on a run in Rock Creek Park Tuesday and as I was enjoying the views of the creek and bright green spring leaves I spotted a bald eagle. It was awesome to see and was huge! I started to point it out to other people biking and jogging by on the trail and a little group formed. Fun to see everyone get excited to see it! There was one guy running by who I waved at to let him know and he stopped to check it out.
We chatted as a little group for a few minutes. He was wearing a black shirt and seemed very friendly – curious to see if he’d be in for meeting up some time for a run or chat!”
