This Spring, Hit a Hard Reset and Get Your Home Professionally Cleaned

Now that D.C. got the last snowstorm out of its system, we can officially declare it: Spring has sprung. Cue cherry blossoms, baseball games, patio brunches — and spring cleaning.

If you’re looking for a hard reset after this dreary winter, get your home professionally cleaned with Well-Paid Maids.

Using sustainable, green cleaning products, Well-Paid Maids will leave your home sparkling.

Its cleaners do it all: mopping, vacuuming, dusting and wiping down surfaces, scrubbing toilets and more. They can even take care of your most dreaded tasks, including cleaning the fridge and oven, changing bed sheets, sanitizing trash cans and more.

In addition to the attention to detail, what really sets Well-Paid Maids apart from other cleaning services is it pays employees (note: not contractors) a fair, living wage of at least $20 an hour. Even more, employees have access to health, dental and vision insurance; 22 paid days off a year; employer-paid commuting; and more.

That means you’ll not only have a spotless home — you’ll also feel good supporting a business committed to making change.

So go ahead and officially welcome spring this year by booking your spring cleaning online.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
