Naomi is a gorgeous, bright eyed lionhead girl with impeccable litter box habits. While she is rather timid at first, but makes the cutest piggy noises and enjoys head rubs once she has warmed up to you. She would be happiest in a calm, quiet home with adults. She coexists peacefully with a very gentle dog in her foster home. To adopt Naomi, please fill out an application here!

Just like her namesake in Homer’s Odyssey, our Calypso is a beautiful little enchantress! She hopes to lure you in with her cute and playful ways and call you her very own. Due to an untreated eye infection, Calypso had to have one eye removed and has impaired vision in her second eye. Despite this, she is able to deftly navigate her surroundings, chase toy mice across the room, and sniff out her favorite treats wherever they are! Calypso would make a great companion for someone who works from home–she’ll happily sit nearby you and observe to make sure you’re staying on task. She won’t disturb you when you’re sleeping, as she prefers to sleep at the foot of the bed. Ordering delivery for dinner? Make sure to share a french fry with her! Calypso’s also very vocal and will greet you with excited meows when you get home from being away. She is looking for a home where she is the only pet, and in return, Calypso will repay you would endless love and companionship. Does Calypso sound like the girl for you? If so, apply today at bit.ly/adoptcalypso!

Moses is eager to please and be loved! He will be the first to welcome you back home after work. Moses enjoys playing with his toys and the resident dog in his foster home. He is very well behaved indoors and best of all, Moses is loyal and just wants to be a part of his person’s life. This goofy guy will gladly snuggle up and give kisses. Moses is a master of the words sit, come and paw! He has also embarked on a weight loss journey and has already lost five pounds! We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
