I met this girl at “Un je ne sais quoi…” coffee shop last Sunday afternoon, and I asked her friend what pastry she got,
and they both talked to me briefly. I was sitting across from her at a nearby table, working on my laptop while she was chatting with her friend. We made eye contact and smiled when the coffee shop announced they were about to close for the day. I thought she had such a jovial presence and wished I had talked to her some more before she left!
