“Dear PoPville,
I was on the corner of O and 9th NW tonight (Nov 15) at around 8pm, walking south; she was about to cross O heading north. She was absolutely beautiful, had her hair in a ponytail, and was wearing a black sweater with some sort of design on the front; I think she was also carrying a bag of groceries? I was in jeans, brown boots, and a black jacket. We made eye contact, then I looked down, and when I looked up she was still looking at me and smiled! Because I evidently still haven’t remembered how to talk to people post lockdown, I sort of gave an awkward smile as I walked by. But I wish I had stopped to say something! If she sees this and is single and interested, I’d love to buy her a drink and properly introduce myself!”
