I was biking in Georgetown on Sunday night, 9/19, around 9pm when I saw you standing at an intersection and we smiled at each other just half a second before I crashed into a taxi cab. It was right in front of an Italian restaurant on M st and 30th and you and your friend stayed there for a bit asking if was ok and if I needed help.
But sadly I was too distracted by the accident (and honestly a little embarrassed that I crashed into a car) to talk to you.
You came back with your Jeep one last time to check up on me and unfortunately, I didn’t even get your name or a chance to thank you for looking out.
Thankfully I am ok and didn’t have any serious injuries. But if you want to laugh about it and get to know each other more after that unfortunate incident let me know!”
