On Thursday, walking home (P Street & Logan Circle) in the rain without an umbrella and with my hands full of grocery bags, a stranger approached me and offered to share their umbrella.
Those few minutes of shelter likely saved me from the calamity of broken paper grocery bags. Thankfully I made it home with the bags intact but without the name of the stranger who came to my rescue.
To the woman from LA who loves the rain and who sheltered me with her umbrella, thank you again! Would love to get a coffee or a drink and continue the conversation.”
