Ed. Note: If any of these are you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, some have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made. We connected MC Nolan yesterday!

“Dear PoPville,

Emissary Pergamino on this saturday early afternoon. We shared a table with an umbrella because it began to rain and wrote in our respective journals. I enjoyed our slightly awkward chat before you left. If you’re ever at that cafe again let’s get a coffee and have a full conversation.”

“I was at Kaldi’s Social House in Silver Spring Saturday morning just before 9AM with some friends. I’m a late 20’s white male with wavy hair and I was wearing a natural linen shirt.

I was pretty sure the woman who rang me up was also checking me out. She kept looking my way and maybe seemed to be pointing me out to her coworkers. I didn’t find a good opportunity to ask her for her number. But wish I had! Here’s to the magic of the internet to maybe rectify my mistake.”

“On Sunday, August 22, at around 6:15pm, I was biking home from the Washington Spirit soccer game. I (wearing a light blue shirt & black bike helmet) pulled up at the intersection of 14th and Madison on the Mall, and exchanged smiles with you (wearing a white USA soccer jersey). Then we proceeded to follow each other up 15th street to Mass Ave, with you sometimes behind me and sometimes in the lead as we stopped/started at intersections. We talked for a minute at 15th and Mass and realized we were both biking home from the Spirit game, but I wish I had asked for your number before we went separate directions. I’d love to get a coffee and talk soccer/biking with you sometime!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
