There was a small fire in the apartments on Monroe Street, just off 14th, in Columbia Heights on Tuesday evening (around 7 pm). A guy named Cal with a sweet smile and very cute curls was stopped with his bike and watching the emergency response, so I got up the courage to go say hi. We chatted briefly before shaking hands and parting ways. Cal, if you’re reading this, I should have asked for your number!”
