Open Sun. 2-4 p.m. — Metro DC Houses
“Victorian beauty that is delightfully expansive. She has beautiful tall ceilings on each level that will make you jump for joy. The updated kitchen with a 5 burner stove, dishwasher, microwave and paneled refrigerator will leave you excited to entertain your friends, who just walked 2 blocks from Union Station to enjoy the city from your deck and expansive yard. When you go upstairs, 3 beds/2 bath, you are treated to a well sized bedroom and full bath and then flattered with Jack and Jill master suites, one larger than the other with plenty of closet space for even the biggest Capitol Hill fashionista. You need parking for 2? We have you covered. Are you considering a short term rental business or maybe someone more permanent or do you just want to reclaim the space for yourself? The English basement is perfect with full-sized washer/dryer, kitchen with dishwasher, electric stove and refrigerator. The one bedroom in back boasts dueling closets and again, the ceiling height is worth noting. Patio space under the deck can be the perfect hang out spot for lower level occupant or additional entertainment. A lockable storage shed would be perfect for anything from bikes to tools and the commercial-grade roll up garage door is built to last. It’s worth noting that if you’re not familiar with neighborhood literally across the street morning coffee options and there are amazing lunch/dinner options, still residential while in the heart of it all.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
