SWEAT DC 12 in 21 Spring Challenge

SWEAT DC, Washington’s judgement-free, inclusive and challenging group-personal fitness studio, is here to get you moving and out of the COVID slump with their new 12 in 21 Spring Challenge!

Starting April 26, the Challenge is open to anyone in the DMV. To participate in the challenge, form a team of two and together you and your partner must commit to 12 classes in 21 days (April 26-May 16). No partner? No problem. We will match you with another free agent for the challenge.

As part of the challenge for just $199, you get:

  • Passes to take any 12 small group SWEAT DC sessions including: SWEAT Strength and Conditioning, SWEAT X 30 minute transformation, and/or Outdoor HIIT Booty Bootcamp
  • SWEAT DC Nutrition Guide
  • $25 Mighty Meal Gift Card
  • Prize for all teams who take over 24 classes
  • Grand prize for the team that takes the most classes

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
