Introducing Maddox House, Centrally Located in Truxton Circle

Located at 1532 N. Capitol Street NW, Maddox House is in the middle of it all.

Inside the 13-residence community, you’ll find one- and two-bedroom homes that have been thoughtfully designed and capped off with luxury finishes. Each unit has plenty of natural light, designer kitchens, oak floors and high ceilings.

The penthouse residences are two stories, and you’ll wake up to views of D.C. and the Capitol.

When you’re ready to venture outside, you’re just a 10-minute walk to Union Market and Trader Joe’s. Head the other direction, and you’ll find plenty of food and drink options, including Big Bear Cafe, DCity Smokehouse and Anxo Cidery.

Want to venture farther? There’s secure off-street parking for your car, or you’ve got the NoMa and Shaw Metros just a short distance away.

If you’re interested in learning more about Maddox House, stop by the website or call 202-480-7927 to schedule a tour.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
