Celebrate at home with a “Laissez lez bon temps Rouler” Fat Tuesday Feast from Due South!

Navy Yard’s highly-acclaimed Southern inspired restaurant, Due South, is bringing Mardi Gras to you this year! Chef Rusty Holman and the Due South Team are looking forward to offering an authentic taste of a New Orleans’ Mardi Gras — family style meals for 2-4 or 6-8 hungry humans packaged in a convenient and fun box to-go! Enjoy Shrimp & Grits, Seafood Gumbo, Bacon Braised Collard Greens, Chopped Salad and, of course, King Cake! A la carte ordering is also available.

New Orleans drink specials like Abita Beer by the 6-pack and house-made Hurricanes will also be available to complete your celebration!

Deliveries scheduled between 5:30-6:30 p.m. or 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16. Delivery available inside all D.C. Zip Codes, Maryland 20814, 20815, 20816, 20817 and Virginia 22201, 22202, 22203, 22204, 22205, 22206, 22207, 22307 and 22209.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
