The tailored black and white brick facade, lovely garden and flagstone stairs to the wide and deep front porch is the definition of inviting! But it is the incredible view into the stunning, light-filled and wide-open living space that will amaze! It is alight with super high tray ceilings and gorgeous wide-plank oak flooring, with the spacious living and dining rooms anchoring the space. But the centerpiece is the stunning, two-tone, black and white kitchen with floating oak shelves, oversized pendants, and an incredible 12-foot long island with a white quartz countertop and built-in microwave! When quarantining is over, this will be dinner party central! The dining room overlooks the gorgeous outdoor living area with a floating deck and pergola aglow with twinkling lights! There is a built-in mud area and powder room. Upstairs, the owner’s suite is spacious with double-height ceilings, double closets, and an extraordinarily large, sleek mid-century modern bathroom with double vanity and 2-person shower! The LL is huge, with a front English basement entry as well as a rear exit. Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
