Sales are Wrapping Up at The Gallatin in Petworth With $13,000 Closing Cost Credit

When: Open Saturday & Sunday, 1-4 p.m.
Where: 906 Gallatin Street NW

If you’re still on the hunt for a new home, you might want to check out The Gallatin located in D.C.’s Petworth community.

There are just 5 homes remaining with prices starting in the lower $400s, and a limited time $13,000 closing cost credit if using a preferred lender.

The Gallatin’s new 2 bedroom and 2 full bath condominiums are designed for modern, urban living. The exposed beams and contemporary finishes create a loft-like feel. Standard features include quartz countertops and a Brazilian Walnut island in the kitchen, with Marmara marble flooring and tile in each bathroom. Customized built-in shelving in the living room and bedrooms provide that ever-crucial organizational space with personal floor-to-ceiling and bike storage also standard.

The expansive outdoor courtyard centers the community with an elevated outdoor social area framed with a pergola providing filtered shade for grilling and lounging.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
