Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Megot is a gentleman among kitties. He is a purrball who will do anything for a tummy rub. This big boy is quiet and a little shy, but once he opens up, he will be your new best friend. He spends most of his day sleeping among the blankets on the bed or out following his human around the house. He will always welcome a good tummy rub, but beware if you start, you’ll find yourself rubbing the tummy for much longer than anticipated! What more can we say? His purrs say it all! Nancy came to Lost Dog Rescue from Albany, Georgia and is now looking for her forever home! She is fairly mellow for a younger dog — happy to hang out, play with chew toys for hours, give lots of kisses and cuddle.

She does get a bit excited when greeting people, so we think she would do best in a home with older kids with some dog experience. Nancy is pretty easy to walk on a leash, has been crate-trained while in foster care and has good house manners. There is a cat in her foster home, but the two have only seen each other briefly in passing.

Nancy had recently had puppies and is nearing the end of her heartworm treatment, so she’s been mostly resting and recuperating during her foster home stay. But it just means that she is a great buddy for staying home and taking it easy. For more information about Nancy, email [email protected].
