Maids in Brown Offers Professional, Eco-Friendly Spring Cleaning Help

Because of the somewhat feeble winter — warmest in recent history; slight snow dustings; daffodils in February — the urge to do annual spring cleaning is hitting us earlier than ever this season.

Maids in Brown, the environmentally conscious, Arlington-based home cleaning service, recommends booking a visit by their trained house cleaners now, before the truly warm weather inspires everyone else to get their homes ready for the new season.

Even if you routinely clean your house or apartment yourself — and you do a great job of it — it helps to have professionals come in at the beginning of the new season for a serious deep cleaning to establish a baseline for future success. Here is a list of what they do when they visit for a spring cleaning session.

Maids in Brown specialize in eco-friendly cleaning, using only natural cleaning products and methods that promote positive environmental impacts.

Maids in Brown’s professional and experienced cleaning specialists undergo rigorous background and identity checks. There is a money-back guarantee with each appointment.

“We care about our clients, the Earth, and our community,” the Maids in Brown owner said. “Our goal is to create moments of joy for our clients.” As a way of giving back to the Arlington community, Maids in Brown donates free cleanings to women battling cancer.

Get a jump on spring cleaning by booking an appointment with Maids in Brown soon.

Maids in Brown can be reached at the booking page, by email [email protected] and by phone at 571-466-6900. Visit Maids in Brown website here.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
