“[solidcore] H Street Studio Opens Today”

“[solidcore], the fastest growing boutique fitness studio in the country, is opening its eighth Washington, DC studio on February 6, 2020, at 931 H Street NE. The 14-machine studio is the first [solidcore] to open in the H street neighborhood.

To celebrate the opening, [solidcore] is offering studio-specific special pricing for a limited time only. Clients can purchase a Founder’s 5-pack for $140, a Founder’s 10-pack for $250, or a Founder’s Unlimited for $239/mo. [solidcore] has partnered with local vendors and will offer healthy treats and host giveaways on opening day.

“We are really excited to bring the [solidcore] workout to the H street neighborhood,” said Anne Mahlum, CEO and Founder of [solidcore]. “H street continues to develop and grow, and we are thrilled to be one of the first boutique fitness studios in the area.”

The opening of H street marks the 19th studio to open in the DMV, the 69th studio to open across the country, and is part of the company’s strategy to grow to 100 studios by the end of 2020. [solidcore] – which opened the doors to its first ever studio here in the Adam’s Morgan neighborhood in 2013, is now in 20 states.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
